BUENAS PRÁCTICAS EN SOSTENIBILIDAD AUTORIDAD Y RESPONSABILIDAD

Es responsabilidad de todos los EMPLEADOS de Vuelo Secreto Representaciones Turisticas implementar las siguientes buenas prácticas, adicionales a las establecidas en los diferentes procedimientos del Sistema de Sostenibilidad:

1. SOCIAL

• Mantener comportamientos que contribuyan a las buenas relaciones laborales, tolerando las diferencias de las personas.
• Respetar a las personas con las que se relacione, independiente de su raza, credo, género, estatus, etc.
• Utilizar un tono de voz moderado en su lugar de trabajo.
• Mantener una actitud cordial y respetuosa con los compañeros de trabajo y los clientes de la Agencia.
• Informar cualquier anomalía que pueda afectar aspectos relacionados con el tema social, considerando en éste el turismo sexual o la explotación laboral de niños y adolescentes.
• Cumplir las normas de seguridad establecidas por la Agencia.
• Compartir toda la información a nuestro alcance con los compañeros para lograr un mejor flujo de trabajo en la oficina. No es honesto ni correcto “guardar” información que puede afectar a otras personas y procesos.
• No entablar discusiones con los superiores o empleados en público, si no estamos de acuerdo con una observación, esperemos que la persona este calmada y se desocupe; luego en la oficina cuando estén solos trate de razonar y mostrar su punto de vista.
• Respetar las jerarquías, edades y demás, ya que los protocolos deben cumplirse también con personas mayores, independiente del cargo que este ejerza.
• Informar a los proveedores y a los clientes sobre los compromisos en sostenibilidad adquiridos por la empresa. Darles a conocer los esfuerzos que realizamos por el ambiente, colocando en todo medio de comunicación impreso y electrónico, símbolos e indicadores de gestión. De esta manera contribuirás también a su concientización y educación en sostenibilidad.

2. ECONÓMICO

• Cumplir con las directrices trazadas por la Dirección, relacionadas con el desarrollo económico de la Agencia.
• Informar cualquier inconveniente o falla que pueda impactar negativamente la economía de la Agencia.
• Proponer acciones relacionadas con la sostenibilidad, que conlleven a generar ingresos adicionales al personal de la Agencia o a la comunidad.

3. AMBIENTAL

• Respetar las áreas de la oficina y su entorno, asignadas para actividades específicas (ej.: parqueadero discapacitados, etc.).
• Ayudar a conservar las especies de flora, fauna y patrimonio cultural que encuentren en la Agencia y su entorno.

3.1 Agua

• Cerrar llaves de los grifos cuando no se estén utilizando.
• No utilizar el sanitario como basurero, ni como depósito de toallas sanitarias, colillas, pañuelos desechables, desperdicios, etc.
• No verter sustancias dañinas en lavamanos o en inodoros e informarnos sobre la forma correcta de desecharlos.
• En las juntas de trabajo y reuniones no servir vasos con agua, es mejor esperar a que los soliciten, ya que si no la toman, se desperdiciará.
• Reducir el consumo de agua embotellada de botellas de plástico (PET). Reutilizar la misma botella, rellenándola con agua del garrafón o de la llave, es más económico y contaminará menos.
• Reportar a la Dirección, fugas o escapes de agua que detecte.
• Aplicar las instrucciones informativas, en cuanto a ahorro de agua que difunde la Agencia.

3.2 Energía

• Apagar luces cuando no sean necesarias y usar la luz natural el mayor tiempo posible.
• Configurar los computadores en “ahorro de energía”, con esto podemos reducir el consumo de electricidad hasta un 50%.
• Apagar los computadores, impresoras y demás aparatos eléctricos una vez finalizada la Jornada de trabajo.
• El único protector de pantalla que ahorra energía es negro “Vacío”. Es deseable configurarlo para que se active tras 10 minutos de inactividad.
• Mantener limpios los aparatos y herramientas de oficina. Mantener limpios los teclados de computadora e impresoras contribuirá a mantener su buen estado de funcionamiento y a evitar la pérdida de tiempo, el desperdicio de energía y de materiales.
• Sustituir progresivamente por focos ahorradores las antiguas bombillas incandescentes y tubos fluorescentes, que usan tecnología ineficiente que desprende más calor que luz (contra lo cual, entre otras cosas, tiene que luchar el aire acondicionado en verano).
• Usar interruptores independientes para iluminar sólo las zonas necesitadas de una misma área.
• Reportar a la Dirección daños detectados, en las fuentes, equipos o conductores de energía.
• Apagar los equipos cuando no los utilice.
• Desconectar los cargadores de los equipos cuando hayan terminado de cargar.

3.3 Residuos/Papel

• Separar y depositar los residuos en los lugares asignados.
• Imprimir únicamente cuando se requiera mantener copias físicas de los documentos.
• Imprimir por ambas caras de las hojas de papel cuando sea posible, utilizando la opción de ahorro de tinta para la impresión.
• Utilizar medios de comunicación electrónicos en la medida de lo posible, para reducir el uso de impresoras y faxes.
• Coordinar con el personal de limpieza, la diferenciación como mínimo los residuos orgánicos, inorgánicos y peligrosos en canecas o papeleras de colores. Es importante que el personal de limpieza tenga conocimiento de cuáles son los residuos considerados peligrosos y no peligrosos, según la norma nacional vigente.
• Incluir el reúso dentro de las actividades diarias, en la medida de lo posible, de los residuos generados o los recursos ya usados y potencialmente desechables, para darles usos alternativos (Ejm: cajas, carpetas, material de encuadernación, clip, ganchos de cosedora, etc.)
• Sustituir en las oficinas las pilas de un solo uso, por pilas recargables con mayor vida útil.
• Incorporar acciones para la gestión de residuos, en especial atención a los residuos sólidos de origen inorgánico (papel, vidrio, cartones) para que sean depositados en el sitio correcto, facilitando su adecuada gestión.
• Coordinar la donación con organismos no gubernamentales, instituciones de beneficencia, entre otros que realicen reciclado de materiales como fibras de aluminio, maderas, cartones, plásticos, etc.

4. CULTURAL

• Informar a los turistas sobre los verdaderos valores y tradiciones de la comunidad.
• Respetar los derechos, valores y costumbres, así como la visión del mundo de los pobladores locales. No llevar turistas a comunidades indígenas sin autorización.
• Sensibilizar y explicar al personal sobre el daño que puede ocasionar el turismo a la comunidad y cómo evitarlo. Que el personal informe a los visitantes sobre la cultura local.
• Comunicar la turista que debe evitar hacer donaciones negativas para las costumbres locales como juegos modernos para niños, golosinas, medicinas obsoletas, dinero, etc.
• Incentivar la compra por parte del turista de productos y artesanías locales.
• En su mayoría las actividades (Parte Cultural) son realizadas por los proveedores turísticos y/o agencias mayoristas.

AUTORIDAD RELACIONADA CON LA SOSTENIBILIDAD
Únicamente la Gerencia está autorizada para modificar o establecer directrices relacionadas con la sostenibilidad y para generar o modificar documentos relacionados con los requisitos establecidos en el Sistema de Gestión de Sostenibilidad.

AUTHORITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
It is the responsibility of all EMPLOYEES TURISMO EN MEDELLIN & VIAJES Y TURISMO GLOBO SAS implement the following best practices in addition to those set out in the various processes of System Sustainability:

1. SOCIAL

• Maintain behaviors that contribute to good working relationships, tolerating the differences of people.
• Respect people with whom it relates, regardless of race, creed, gender, status, etc.
• Use a moderate tone of voice in their workplace.
• Maintain a cordial and respectful attitude with coworkers and clients of the agency.
• Report any anomalies that may affect social issue related aspects, considering it sex tourism and the exploitation of children and adolescents.
• Comply with safety standards set by the Agency.
• Share all information at our fingertips with colleagues for a better workflow in the office. It is honest and correct “save” information that can affect other people and processes.
• Not to attribute credit for jobs or projects that have not been part of, or even having been a party, are not our whole. Even as themselves, should always be shared with other colleagues and stressing the importance of them in achieving these goals.

2. ECONOMIC

• Comply with the guidelines issued by the Department related to the economic development of the Agency.
• Report any problem or failure that may adversely impact the economy of the Agency.
• Propose actions related to sustainability, which lead to additional income to the Agency staff or the community.

3. ENVIRONMENTAL

• Respect the office areas and their surroundings, assigned to specific activities (eg .: handicapped parking, etc.).
• Help conserve the flora, fauna and cultural heritage are in the agency and its environment.

3.1 Water

• Close faucet handles when not in use.
• Do not use the toilet as a trash can, or as a store of sanitary napkins, cigarette butts, tissues, waste, etc.
• Use a solid or lí¬quido deodorant toilet. This will help build some urination, eliminating odors before flushing.

3.2 Energy

• Turn off lights when not needed and use natural light as much as possible.

4. CULTURAL

• Inform tourists about the true values and traditions of the community.
• Respect the rights, values and customs, and worldview of local people. Do not bring tourists to indigenous communities without authorization.
• Raise awareness and explain to staff about the damage that can cause tourism to the community and how to avoid it. Staff tell visitors about the local culture.
• Communicate the tourist should avoid making negative donations to local customs and modern playground, candy, outdated medicines, money, etc.
• Encourage the purchase by the tourist products and local handicrafts In most activities (Cultural Party) are made by travel suppliers and / or wholesale customers.

AUTHORITY RELATING TO SUSTAINABILITY
Only the Director of the Agency is authorized to modify or establish guidelines related to sustainability and only representative of the Directorate is authorized to generate or modify the requirements related to the Sustainability Management System documents.
